Arrival to Warsaw's airport, meeting with tour leader in the hall of the airport and  transfer to the hotel.

Visit of Warsaw

The breakfast in the hotel. Meeting with the guide and visit of Warsaw: in 18th  and 19th century Warsaw was know as „Paris of the North”, but architecture changed a lot after Second World War. First of all the communist built many tipical to this period buildings: Palace of Sience and Culture – socrealist skycraper located in the city centre, now next to this building you can find modern economic and trade centre of Warsa and MDM (Marszalkowska Dzielnica Mieszkaniowa – Marszalkowska Housing District) – one of tipical district built by communists in this period. From the historical point of view more important are other parts of the city: the Old City (Stare Miasto) with Royal Castle and situated just next to it the New City (Nowe Miasto) with his oldest building the Barbican. The 'must see' is as well Lazienki Park (Park Lazienkowski) with Palace on water (Palac na wodzie) and Polish famous composer Fryderyk Chopin monument.

Warsaw – Czestochowa – Cracow

Lunch in Czestochowa's restaurant.Visit of Częstochowa shrine, one of the most important places of Catholic cult in Poland. Each year over four millions of pilgrims are visiting this place. On Ogni anno vi giungono oltre quattro milioni di pellegrini. In Jasna Gora monastery (lat. Mons Clara, eng. Luminous Mount) we can find the Black Madonna image which was so precious for Poles as they gave her the title of Queen of Poland. Departure for Cracow.

Visit of Cracow, Kazimierz – Jewish district

morning

Breakfast in the hotel. Meeting with guide and visit of Cracow: Royal Castle Wawel (the visit of the cathedral and courtyard), the Market Place, The Clothmarket, Saint Mary's church, Jagiellonian University, Florian's Gate and Barbican.

Lunch in Cracow's restaurant. Second part of the visit: former Jewish district Kazimierz. Free time.

Dinner (optional proposal dinner with Jewish music concert).

Cracow – river Dunajec – Zakopane – Cracow

Breakfast in the hotel. Departure for Sromowce Wyzne. Dunajec river rafting in Polish Mountains (in case of rain the trip by funicular railway to mount Gubalowka in Zakopane will take place). Arrival to Szczawnica. Departure to Zakopane.

Lunch in Zakopane. Visit of Zakopane – th capitale of Polish mountains. The includes: main stree Krupowki, Santuary of Our Lady of Fatima (Krzeptowki) – built after Pope John II assassination attempt.

SIXTH DAY:
Cracow – Oswiecim – Brzezinka (Auschwitz-Birkenau) - Wieliczka – Cracow

Breakfast in the hotel. Departure for Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. Visit of former concentration camp Auschiwitz – Birkeanu. The Auschwitz concentration camp was one of tree camps which was part of whole complex based near Auschwitz (in Polish Oswiecim). The second part of complex was extermination camp based in Birkenau (in Polish Brzezinka). The third part of the camp was the labor camp Monowitz (in Polish Monowice). From year 1979 whole camp is on the UNESCO list of World Hertige Sites.

Lunch in the restaurant. Departure for Wieliczka. Guided visit of salt mine: the Wieliczka Salt Mine located about 13 km from Cracow's city centre, was built in 13th century was one of the oldest salt mines in the world (the table salt was produced until 2007). The main attractions of the mine includes: the cathedral carved by local miners, three chapels and dozens of statues. In 1978 it was placed on UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. Wieliczka is one of the most visited attractions in Poland, every year over 1 million is visiting this place.
